Clans of Caledonia, Solo playthrough with Clan MacKenzie (In English, board game)

Clans of Caledonia is a medium-heavy worker placement game for 1-4 players, it takes about 30 min. per player and is for the ages 12+.

Well done on your highest score.I liked watching as i could tell
you were enjoying it.
I think the settlements were hardest to keep track of.
Do you think you would favour a certain clan depending on solo or playing
against someone.
So at the end when you add your points you try to get a best score rather than
a win or lose result.
And i never thought i would hear slaughter a cow/sheep in a board game thats
for sure.

I have seen a few people do a solo play and most of them tracked the import goods during play-through and scored the points when they end the game. But I thought the rule book said you don't need to track the import goods, and I can't find the reason why those players I mentioned still track and score it. You are the first person that mentioned the rule but claiming that you are still going to track it. So I hope I am not bothering you to ask why? I only started to play this game recently, desperately wanted to know everything about solo mode.:)
