In this video we’ll round 1.15 to the nearest tenth place. The tenth place value refers to the first digit after the decimal point in a decimal number. To round a decimal number to the nearest tenth, examine the digit in the hundredth place. If the digit is greater than 5, add 1 to the tenth place value. If it is less than 5, keep the tenth place value unchanged, and remove all the digits after the tenth place.
