That being said when a married couple spend no time together eventually one or both are going to seek to get their needs met from someone else. Maybe he cheated and maybe she did too. Its not surprising. Id be more surprised if neither if them cheated considering they spent most their time apart.

I’m a Kevin Costner fan & when I saw the headlines about KC getting a co star pregnant on Yellowstone I didn’t think that was a true storyline! I was heartbroken to hear KC’s wife had filed for divorce & I just thought this was KC’s forever marriage! Then I thought of their three young children I do understand KC isn’t home every night due to filming obligations but if his statement is correct KC was taken by surprise by his wife filing for divorce! It’s just sad! I just think KC is a wonderful actor & you want his off the screen home life to be great too! I do wish KC & his family all the best in the future!

I can tell you exactly why she divorced him, he was in Montana most of the year, and then, when he wasn’t there shooting he was out on the road playing rockstar !! she became a non-entity or a non-factor in their marriage and she was flat out over it!

My guess is that the 18 year mark was achieved, and that mark may correspond with a legal milestone that makes it more likely that his wife will get more in the divorce settlement.

Enjoy the show, but it is just a show. Cast was great but if someone feels the need to move on that is up to them. I’m sure they can create a story line that would allow KC to leave. There are so many characters that are strong enough to be able to hold it together. Real life we lose people in our lives and we keep on going because it’s a part of life.
