Thank you for highlighting this important issue. Last year, while visiting my parents in Queens, my brand-new Acura MDX was stolen in less than 10 minutes through a relay attack. Unfortunately, the NYPD didn’t take much action since these thefts are so common. While my insurance covered most of the loss, I still ended up losing thousands of dollars, and my insurance rates increased as a result. It’s been over a year now, and there’s still no sign of my car. It’s frustrating to know that something I worked so hard to buy was taken so easily.

I've worked with a auto shop/luxury dealer out of NYC and they've constantly been having $250k+ cars stolen by dispatch/transport guys. Most have been recovered but still crazy
