Question;

So, I have a Labrador who is very friendly and gentle, but when he sees new people/dogs, smells new things, or anything like that he gets super excited and starts pulling you wherever he wants to go; with all his might. This can get kinda dangerous since he’s pretty big; around 40 kilos. I’ve tried the other tips and tricks like stopping whenever he starts pulling, and making sharp turns, but nothing works except for giving him treats to distract him. Can’t keep doing that though because I’m afraid he might become a bit *too* chubby.

Anyways, the point of this entire paragraph was to ask if anyone has any tips to make my dog stop pulling on the leash?

Wish he could help my german shepherd she's super friendly to people n kids..but not keen on other dogs...I rescued her from the previous owner who kept her in a cage for hours n hours for days on end she got minimum exercise & she didmt get out to play in early life to learn any socialising skills unfortunately...
