700HP Nissan GT-R vs 630HP BMW M3 xDrive DRAG RACE

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your Pilot speaking. My name is Tseno and in today's episode I have prepared a battle between two six cylinder automotive icons.

The BMW M3 G80 Competition xDrive with it's S58 3.0L Twin Turbo I6 producing stock 510HP and bumped up to 630HP thanks to a Manhart MHtronik Powerbox against a tuned Nissan GTR with around 670-700HP from it's 3.8L Twin Turbo V6 Engine.

Similar weight, same tyres and perfect weather conditions mean only one thing, expect an epic battle between the two. Are you ready? Let's go!

Nice Vid Tseno! This was the race I´ve been waiting for quite a long time. Outcome as expected and both cars comparable. We know the M3 often comes along with +/-550hp from factory which is also comparable to the GTR (570). Compared stock to stock the GTR is a bit faster as proven by the drag race of Throttle House. If high altitude might be in the game it could explain the 100-200 times, which normally, could be a bit faster (3-5 tenth) compared to the claimed power. Tuning and power gain with the new BMW M3 is much easier and effective compared to the GTR, where you have to put more efforts to gain equal increases.... Great cars, proud to own a GTR :)

The M3 still did a better quartermile time but apparently trapped slower as the GTR had a better 100-200 time. Still positive for the M3 considering it's on a piggyback tuner

BMW is an amazing car, beautiful and fierce in its aggressive front, where does all this power come from despite the 70 horse power difference and the car weight difference - we salute the BMW car, the difference is not mentioned at the end of the race side by side
