When technologist and inventor Grant Ryan moved into his new home in the country, one of the first things he did was address his rat problem. Lo and behold, once the rats were gone, the birds came back, and he was treated to a glorious cacophony of native birdsong. He began to wonder whether New Zealand's famous pest problems could be better dealt with through technology -- and The Cacophony Project was born.

Kia ora Ted I, may be nearly 50 but also concerned about our environment. I live in Sydney do my morning exercise on a daily basis and pick recycling cans and plastics along my journey. Love to get back to the bush life i was raised up with, kia ora.
