I have hypothyroidism and my nails get brittle when they start to grow

I wish I could grow out my nail but they tend to peel and are quite thin 😕. So when my nails peel I try to cut them but I can then see some of the layers in my nail. Is there a way I can fix this? Loved the video.😄
