Kīlauea Volcano Eruption Update for Wednesday (April 9, 2025)

HAWAIʻI VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK - Episode 17 in the ongoing Kīlauea summit eruption has ended, and the pattern of activity was different compared to previous, recent lava episodes.

We rented a house near the golf course across hwy 11 from the volcano last August. That neighborhood was lovely. One morning we all heard an audible low freq rumble but didn’t feel anything. Same week the monsoon blew through. ONLY IN HAWAII!!!

Cette éruption aurait dû se terminer mais elle persiste, cela gène le tourisme, est malsain pour les résidents à cause des poussières de laves. Heureusement les experts sur places anticipent les risques. A part un bateau qui s'était rapproché trop près d'une fontaine de lave avec un passager heurté, il n'y a eu personne tué ou blessé.
Il n'en reste pas moins que les volcans témoignent de la vie minérale de notre planète!
