These people did a great job putting this production together! What a wonderful series! Amy Beth McNulty has so much talent . They did certain things to make her look too thin and homely (I always found her very adorable personally) In the end of the series they made her look so beautiful in her blue dress and walking through town! Her personality made her more beautiful than anything . Her acting made me tear up the 1st two episodes especially!

When I first started watching Ann with an E, I immediately had a crush on Gilbert, Cole and Jeremy! I found it so funny as well because my friends and I all shared the same crushes that we like. I definitely love this series because it has a nice heart-warming reasoning behind it.

I actually really like that they casted children to play the role of children. More often than not, casting directors cast mid 20s to late 20s to play teenagers and the fact that they didn't for this is really refreshing and much more believable

Love Amybeth... as a 13 year old she is an adorable Anne, but, speaking as a mum, boy! I would be constantly torn between exhasperation at her lies and scheming, and constant tallking, and the absolutely shining candour of her spirit... As a grandma, however, I found it difficult to watch this series without wanting to scoop anne up in my arms and pour all the love that was denied her, in her early, most tender years. It is impossible to watch this series without feeling a deep, sharp ache for orphaned children, aching for what they once upon a time went - and in mamy cases probably still do - go through in their lives. Amybeth has the most startling eyes, and her features transparently portrayed the most innocent lust for life and the deepest sorrow and grief. Astounding acting skill, and probably magistrally directed... an all 'round masterpiece... I am watching it for the secon dtime, back-to-back, because I want to catch all those scenes of crystal clear beauty and eminetly balanced, believable truth. I suspect there may be a third viewing at the end of this one, just because i cannot bear for it to end... I So want a season 4! NO! don't tell me how the book goes! I will read it when I will....
