I just have to think that whatever they paid you for this, it was worth it. Having a game you are currently making and getting to watch someone like Floydson, note his reactions, what he responds to, what he doesn't, what he never finds or misunderstands...and having it all documented for them nicely in the form of a video? That's a fucking jackpot as a developer. Floydson plays a lot of these games, but also isn't a super hardcore player, he tends to explore on his own at first and both can figure stuff out AND fail to figure stuff out (Which is perfectly fine, you want to know that stuff!).

2 and half hours of Floydson goes so hard

This game looks really interesting hope the devs continue to fine tune it during the early access portion of development.

I enjoy how Floydson basically made his character Albert Einstein then called him funny looking

A 2 hour %100! Yes.
Your editing is great. Wish we got one for Zelda. The passion for the things you're excited about makes them a joy to watch.

Hi Floydson. Just wanted to request again for a 100 days of Terraria (and a possible 200 days if it takes you a little bit longer). I'd love to see you play Terraria, and how you deal with the bosses. Thanks for your time.

I was considering whether I would want to get this so happy you've given a thorough preview of what to expect! Thank you! Also perfect timing, life had me down and your videos always give me happiness and make things brighter!

FYI: The strange-sounding monster names in this game are actually from a bunch of different folklore traditions:
- Grendel: In the Old English epic Beowulf, Grendel is the name of the first monster who is fought and killed by, well, Beowulf.
- Humbaba: In several different ancient Mesopotamian myths and stories (Sumerian, Babylonian, Akkadian, etc.), Humbaba is the name of a giant whom the gods put in charge of guarding a sacred forest. In many of those stories, Humbaba dies at the hands of the oldest known epic heroes, Gilgamesh & Enkidu.
- Eoten: This is the Old English version of "Jötunn", which are giants/monsters/trolls from Norse Mythology. (Best known as the inspiration for the "Frost Giants" from the MCU's Thor movies.) Like the Jötnar, Eotens could take many forms but I don't think that they were often portrayed as tree monsters as in the game. That being said, the word "Ent" (made famous by the giant tree-shepherds from Lord of the Rings) was derived from "Eoten", so there's some precedent there.
- Puck/Goodfellow: Originally the name for a whole race of faeries from English folklore, Puck/Robin Goodfellow eventually became the name of the King of Faeries, made famous by the character from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
- Danu: Ancient Irish Celtic goddess. Not much is known about her today, except that the Tuatha dé Danann ("Faerie folk", literally: "people of the Goddess Danu") are named after her. So there's a clear connection between the name Danu and all the Fae elements of the game – faerie towers, Puck, etc.
- Harpies: Park woman/park bird monsters from Greek mythology.
- Camazotz: The Mayan god of Death. (Literally means "Death Bat" in the Kʼicheʼ Mayan language.)
- Bandersnatch: One of the monsters named in Lewis Carol's poem "Jabberwocky". It's described only as "frumious" in the poem, so it's a popular reference in fantasy media because you can make a Bandersnatch look however you want!
- I'm pretty sure that the "spectral moose" wandering around are called Carnutes (literally "Horned Ones" in Gaellic). I'm not aware of any mythological figure named "Carnutes", but there was a Gaullic tribe from central France who were so named because they wore hats with antlers on them. Their main claim to fame today (other than their pointy fashion sense) was starting a revolt against the Romans in 53 B.C.E. which would grow into Vercingetorix's (of Asterix fame) famous pan-Celtic uprising.

Also, many of the named characters are generally based on real-world people (or classic literature):
Nellie Bly: A groundbreaking US journalist from the 19th century. Super badass, and well worth learning about.
Bass Reeves: A legendary African-American lawman from the "Wild West". Also super badass, and well worth learning about.
Victor Frankenstein: Main character in Mary Shelley's genre-defining sci-fi novel Frankenstein, obviously.
Allan Quartermain: Fictional English big-game hunter from H. Rider Haggard's series of novels.

Unfortunately, I have no idea whom Wilhelmina Sasse, Aurelio Acevedo Ortega, or Ludivine St. Clair were based on, if anyone.

I love the tree cutting in this game, it actually feels like you're chopping a tree. Probably one of the best tree cutting mechanics out there

It's a bit of a different game, but I'd honestly love to see you play Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin. It's a really good game that hasn't gotten a lot of love over here in the west and I think watching you figure out how to become the ultimate rice farmer will be both fun and hilarious

Hey Floydson, I reckon you'd have fun with a little game called Outward. Not sure if you could 100% it, 100 days is a lot more reasonable.

It’s a very interesting game where you play as a secondary character following Charlie, the protagonist around
