I love the colour of that papier plume ink!

You're right. Pen in spanish is "pluma" and the letter a as the final one in a word usually indicates the feminine gender. So the "correct" name of the pen should be "delgada" which would be an adjective more than a name in spanish. Anyway, the important thing is that your review is very good, informative and worth to watch.

You are correct, David; the pen should have been named Delgada.

Delgado apart from meaning thin it's also a last name. Maybe the pen is named after one person

David,
I'm a tinkerer by nature. I like to remove piston assemblies myself for cleaning. Could a TWSBI wrench be used to unscrew the piston assembly? Also, it was nice to learn that the nib and feed unscrews from the section. Without your needing to demonstrate these disassembly features, it would be nice if you mentioned them in your reviews. That would be very helpful for my purchase decisions.

Do people often confuse fountain pens and heavy metal bands? I can't say those are things I would think get mistaken for one another very often.

Pluma (femenino): delgadA
Instrumento de escritura (masculino): delgadO ?

Beautiful resin. Ink is also a nice color. Seems like the correct size for my hand. Thanks for an informative review.

On the issue of Spanish naming: unlike delgada, Delgado is a fairly common surname, so my first reaction when I read the title was to think of an author version of the pen.

So, the delgada Delgado pen... ok. Great review!

In Spanish the proper word for pen is: el boligrafo.... since the modern term for the pen, in general, is "pen" and not feather. La pluma, while feminine, actually harkens back to the days of the feather modified as a writing instrument. el bolígrafo, means pen. El boligrafo en realidad significa--en ingles-- "the pen" and is, masculine. The pen is properly referred to as El boligrafo, delgado. (i love your vids!)

Hi there. Just received mine and there is a spring at the end of the cap. Is this normal or is it broken? Feels very strange to open and close.. Sounds like something that may have been mentioned in a review? Please reply as would really appreciate to know if I need to return

I wonder if you have ever seen Juan Felipe Herrera’s A Natural History of Chicano Literature, available, on YouTube? He starts out with a great story about meeting Alurista in San Diego. I highly recommend the video.

Actually pen has several different ways of being said in Spanish. Bolígrafo or lapicero are other ways of saying pen. In those cases delgado would be correct, ie bolígrafo delgado.

Hello sir, I wanted to hear your view. I was offered Sailor KOP limited edition Deer on moonlight #5 out of 50 made. Is it valuable purchase ? Do you think it’s good investment for future?

Thanks for this review. I'm going to keep my eyes open for a later offering with silver-colorred trim, but I like it!

”If nothing else works, read the manual!” is a common attitude, which the Penlux company gets, :-D
