Even at the age of 4 I remember this song from late 1959. The young mind is very sensitive to auditory stimulation such as music forming a memory lasting until Transition Time. The words to the song told of the life events of Jimmy Brown and the quick passage of Time. It was applicable to all us past, present, and future. Amen...

Hearing my dad's old records when I was a kid brought me here. As a little kid I grew up hearing all these old Nashville legends. Names like Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams, Ernest Tubb.
Dad's been gone for 30 years now. But the memory of him listening to some great music like this and me being exposed to this music at such a young age will carry on in my memory. When I listen to this music I think of my dad. Rest in Peace Dad. ☹️

I knew it first from my dad but looked it up because of the sopranos. This last season is the hardest! Even for the 5th time.

Recall this being played by my parents when I was a kid, loved it then and still love it today (30th Jan 2015), 58 years later. I think I'll have it played at my funeral !!
