I'm very intrigued!!!😂 He actually sounds rather kingly, so the juxtaposition of his singing voice and the crazy actions would be hilarious to watch. We see Groff as the crazy comical ex but this is just as exciting with a take on the real mad king

some him as king george in sf dec 2019 (before all the corona craziness) and he was AMAZING...his performance absolutely and completely stole the show, keep in mind, i had never seen hamilton before or heard any of the songs and after seeing this performance my dad put the official soundtrack and we couldnt believe how much he sounded like the original cast recording!! it was amazing (you can't really tell from this recording but he sounded just like the recording)

I am intrigued by the performance. It seems a lot more one note I.e regal king. Not as mad and menacing as the Broadway version on D+.
Jonathan Groff’s version is layered with the menacing madness just lingering beneath the surface. Not sure if BDJ version has the same death stares. Anyhow ...
