I’ve never had the pleasure of visiting CT. The train/ river cruise sounds like a winner to me!!!!

Visited CT twice which I found it beautiful although drove by Mystic to Providence. Stayed in Norwalk and flew into BDL near Hartford. From Michigan, I loved the water.

For Hartford in particular:

1.) Mark Twain house
2.) Atheneum (oldest US art museum)
3.) Bushnell Park (oldest publicly funded park in the US)
4.) Bushnell Theater (broadway comes to CT quite a bit there)
5.) Old & current state house tours
6.) CT Science Center
7.) CT History Museum
8.) XL Center (events stadium where Hockey, monster trucks, concerts, etc can be watched)
9.) Dunkin Park & the Hartford Yard Goats baseball team
