One of the big updates for this flagship phone is the 50MP camera using Oppo's Marisilicon NPU to produce some natural looking results. Hasselblad has been brought in to fine-tune the app, while you also have an Ultra-Wide and Telephoto shooter in backup. My full review of the Find X5 Pro 5G will cover the camera in full.

Gaming on Genshin Impact and other demanding Android titles is a breeze, even on higher detail settings. Qualcomm's top-end SoC can cope with anything, helped by Oppo's cooling tech. Battery life is also excellent, thanks to the 5000mAh battery. ColorOS 12.1 is stuffed with bonus features and the Oppo Find X5 Pro also serves up a gorgeous AMOLED screen plus stereo speakers.

Been using oppo for a while now (A5 2020) for nearly 3 years now & still in love with it, but when Uncle Spurt said "it ain't going to be cheap" I'd rather get ready my beer ready for watching TSW ep 100.. BTW cheers great review sir!!

Can't imagine why anyone would choose the s22 ultra over this. More ergonomic shape, much faster charging, actual charger AND case in the package, less bloated UI.

I had a oppo find x2 pro before having a Samsung s21 ultra and I can safely say I preferred the oppo. Every day use the oppo worked better. The camera was better too apart from the 10x zoom.

So, I just rewatched oppo findx3 pro review. What are getting here ladies and gentlemen compared to the last year's phone?
- bigger battery (wooow, no way??)
- new chip (are you freaking kidding me? Who could have guessed?)
- a slightly better lense.

Plus this phone got 20 grams heavier and they got rid off that microscope which came in handy when I wanted to astound some lady with a pic of my junk.

Looking forward to this phone. Didn't end up getting a Find X3 Pro as my Reno 10X Zoom is still going (though it's 3-years old now so it's bones are starting to creak).
Holding out for the inevitable vegan leather option (I quite liked the previous Find X vegan leather options, though this time it looks like it's going to be light blue).

This could be the ideal upgrade for me from a Galaxy S20, instead of the S22 … it pisses me off I have to buy the massive unwieldy ultra model to get the best camera.

The only reviewer that reviews more than the camera! British humour is ace too. Best tech reviewer without a doubt. Doesn't seem so horribly biased like marques brownlee either. Great guy.

Find x5 Pro is incredible and much much nicer in person. The x2 Pro is still extremely nice in person and nowhere near close to looking outdated. These are amazing phones for those that haven't had one.
Other than the usual Samsung and apple, oppo and xiaomi are the best imo. Used every brand known to man. Xiaomi get the edge for me with hardware but software down to oppo.

Well number 4 sounds like "death" in Chinese, so usually companies will skip the number 4 like there is no ROG phone 4 and no oneplus 4

Great unboxing video...very detailed! I remember back in the day however unboxing stuff used to be fun...it was like opening a Christmas gift. Is it just me or are companies getting either lazy or uncreative in their presentation? Great video though :)
