You did have someone next to you at 4.18 did you make him disappear ? He is behind you and not looking a happy. Sri Lankan Airlines have a very good reputation here in Australia where we have a large Sri Lankan community in Melbourne...and Australia beat them in a two Test cricket series just recently. Excellent review as always Josh...are you sure the fly on board is not the one you tamed all those years ago ?

the first flight i remember was from Trivandrum to Kuala Lumpur via Colombo. TRV to CMB was a small plane, i think 737, but from CMB to KUL was the sexy L1011 tristar. I remember parking between a few 747s, and feeling quite nice about that.

I flew Sri Lanka Air in 08 from Sydney to BKK, to get out of expensive Australia (beautiful btw) the aircraft was old and smelled bad. Service and food was great! I also worked with sub contractor Sri Lankans in Iraq..very nice people!

Fun fact: I am a Sri Lankan and I have been Japan few times. When I worked in a Japanese company in Sri Lanka, a Japanese investor said to me Sri Lankan always keep smile on their face. He asked me what the reason. I have no words to say that. I never think about it. Then I go to wash room and just smile in front of the mirror :) . Do not know it's automatically comes when we talk to someone.

I'm proud of sri lankan air line it's not just because of I'm sri lankan. First thing I like sri lankan hospitality from most dedicated cabim crew. Also meal choice I'm vegetarian and I love the food. Also inflight entertainment . I was lucky I experience both economy and bussiness class and would like to fly with them again
