Northeast Ohio to see remnants of Hurricane Ida | August 31 forecast

The remnants of Ida continue to swirl north and east through the Ohio Valley. Flooding will be a big issue in southeastern Ohio, Pennsylvania, and the mountains of West Virginia as an envelope of persistent heavy rain will roll through tonight through midday Wednesday.

We sit on the northern periphery of the system here in NE Ohio with rain likely to reach from a Mansfield to Akron to Trumbull County line--heaviest the further south and east you go (Dover, New Philadelphia, Carroll County) with some minor flood potential in those spots.
