I grew up in the seafood business and loved it, not the easiest or cleanest job you can have but I loved doing it.

As a shrimper and commercial fisherman…I seriously appreciate your insight and exposure to our industry. You are so right…so many people don’t understand or appreciate the labor behind our efforts. Thank you my friend.

As a follower of your channel and a commercial fisherman myself thank you bud. Great episode, would love to see more of these. Helps a lot of people understand a little bit about the industry that so many of us love.

Excellent job showing from ocean to table
Content, most people are clueless how much Back Breaking work goes into getting fresh wild caught seafood
Hope these guys keep going out and passing it on to Future generations

That was so cool. I was so envious . We have never got into yellowtail and it wasn’t from lack of trying. Thanks so much for sharing. We were very excited to watch.

The fact he called out the King fish and got it right is incredibly impressive, WOW!

Nice going. I lived in the Virgin Islands for a few years. I had a trick to get a yellow tail every time I went out inshore fishing. I used a floating Yozuri crystal minnow. Dark. Rattle. I had a small skiff. Troll around the rocks. Slow. 100’ of line out. As the lure just passes the rocks it’s fish on. I could catch 10 and sell or give away 7. The kingfish were fun. Mahi Mahi and tuna were a common catch. It was fun for too long.

Awesome video! Jose Sr. and Jose Jr. are like family to me and fish with them any chance I get. I know they've put in the time, money, and effort to be where they are at. Love how you were able to showcase them and the dedication they put into their craft. Again, awesome video and enjoy all your content! Keep up the great work.

Seeing this makes me miss my commercial days. We had a 31' Morgan and worked the Middle Grounds in the Gulf. The target was gag grouper and mangrove snapper. A normal trip was 4 or 5 days. It was hard work, but very fun and satisfying. Enjoy!

Great video. I’m old enough to understand the hard work people put in so we can have food, energy, water and all the nice things at our finger tips. Very informative👍

Great episode. When I was young the commercials mostly fished for Kingfish out of Palm Beach Inlet, everyone gave them plenty of room. You can spot them by the inboard motor and long canopy. It's hard work. They jigged for them with a huge spool of line mounted near the canopy.
