If I may give some advice to students watching this as a lecturer (criminology) who grades all your essays - answer the question asked. It's the biggest issue we come across. Proof read - make sure your sentences make sense!! Don't make claims based solely on your opinion unless asked for it - we need to see evidence of your background reading and can't award points without it. Go beyond the readings we recommend - show us that you're invested and pushing beyond the basics! Hope this helps someone.

I'm on the verge of having to retake the first year of my English degree because I've been dealing with mental health issues that have led to me not handing in my assignments. Your videos are really helping me find the motivation to do all my work and hand everything in before the semester ends. I've got a month and a ton of work to do but I think I can do it!

Ruby thanks for the simple and yet lovely video 💕 It's always so refreshing to get your notification! Would you mind filming a (short) video on how you organize and store your notes that aren't digital? I started going to uni in October 2021 and I'm a fan of hand written and copied notes but I struggle to find a good system on how to store them, put them in folders, etc. 🙈
