I've been feeling super worthless and super lost, as an artist and human, though I have been grinding hard on the craft. Recently I photographed the aftermath of a police shooting in a Portland park a few weeks back, and today the victims daughter reached out to me and thanked me for photographing the scene and resulting protests and what became a night of rioting against police violence. That gesture was huge for me, especially because I have been feeling so lost. It'll help me keep going another day for sure.

Garry Winograd said something like the real problem is making a photograph that is more interesting than what you are photographing. Some people think if the moons don't align you shouldn't take the photo, but I say if something inside you says there is something there I say take the shot and don't worry about it. Great video as usual. Keep up the quality work.
