Check out the latest TEAM BIKE VLOG, this time with Juniors Training setup for his Bianchi Oltre XR4. He recently moved from the Specialissima to the XR4, so also hear his thoughts on the two bikes.

If you have any questions about why Angus is running the things he has on the bike, pop a comment or question below and we'll do our best to get him off his bike to answer a question or two.

I also ride a 36 cm handlebar, it flares out to 40 cm at the drops, but actually measures 33, 5 cm at the hoods. I haven't had any issues with handling or cornering, in fact I feel more confident in handling and can easily throw the bike around and navigate through the peloton. I sometimes get remarks of older racers making BS claims that it would affect handling and breathing, but it's just nonsense. Practilly 85% of people are running handlebars too wide for their posture

Thanks Angus. Answered my very question! What about a comparison outside the Bianchi stable. Maybe a comparison against the latest climbing/aero improved models from does the XR4 stack up against those (generally, not a specific bike review)? All the best with the upcoming build phase of your training. Thanks!

Hi Chris and Angus, just wondering what elite level cyclists do when they get a head cold. Not a flu as such just your standard head cold with a bit of a fever and a few bodily aches and pains. Being a weekend warrior i don't train at all as it doesn't matter so much that my fitness declines but for you guys lost raining would have a big impact on your training/racing plans i would think. Anyway look forward to your response and keep up the great vlogs.

is there any other reason, apart from availability and shape preference, that you do not choose to go for carbon handle bars? thanks :) great vid!

Chris likes to talk about his TT bike and setup. I don’t recall seeing any content about your TT setup. What do you run?

Angus falling over, whist squatting down, at the beginning of this video highlights that us cyclists have horrible ankle flexibility. Umm ... just sayin’. 😕
