Thank you for this, and thank you to all the commenters too. I needed this. As a note to myself and anyone in a headspace like mine: preparing for a worst case scenario (ie. "What if there's no election? Have I/we prepared as best we can for that?") is different than expecting no election and hanging our heads. Take care of yourself and others and have a game plan, but it's not over 'til it's over.

It's fight time. I've tuned out of politics since the election. I can't keep doing that. Americans are not 1930's Germans. We, or at least most of us, believe in Liberty. I'm sad and scared but cancer doesn't go away if you don't do anything.
