Space: 1999 Theme Music - Full Version (Earth: 2021 Remix)

The full version of Barry Gray's incredible theme music from Space: 1999 is given the Cut & Thrust treatment - 2021 style.

Space:1999 was a British science-fiction TV show that ran from 1975-1977 (originally broadcast in the UK on ITV) . When nuclear waste, stored on the Moon’s far side, explodes, the Moon and the 311 inhabitants of Moonbase Alpha are sent hurtling uncontrollably into space.

Starring Martin Landau and Barbara Bain (who were married at the time), Space: 1999 was the last production by the partnership of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson (Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Joe 90) and was the most expensive series produced for British television at that time. The first series was also co-produced by ITC Entertainment and Italian broadcaster RAI.

This remix uses the opening and closing title music from series one, composed by Barry Gray. It also includes the red alert sound often used in the show and the Moonbase Alpha ambient sound.
