LOL I used to make this almost exact same recipe in college. We drank it in shot glasses and called them "apple pie shots". It's a simple and classic drink but so damn good. We used Everclear as the alcohol base.

WOW. I decided to try making this. I just opened one up and pored up a glass. OMG it sat in the fridge for 2 weeks. It is so good and smooth I am giving some out to friends Thank you for the idea. I am making Bacon moonshine next. I am hooked

I made a batch this weekend and right out of the pot, it is the best mixed drink I have ever tasted. Very balanced flavors and it gets a nice buzz going. Like drinking delicious apple pie. I’m sure the jars with the apple slices will be even better.

Just “bottled” my batch today for Christmas gifts. Wife made me put them in 16 Oz jars so the mix would go further and I’ve got a half gallon left for my personal stash now!!!! Gonna take some young to deer camp this weekend to sample out.
