actually there was a bug like that. all the way back in 2022 when golden perks were introduced there was a bug where if you clicked on a tower with a golden perk in the inventory and then engineer, there was a golden perk icon on engi for a split second

Fun Fact: in the daily rotation, if the CrazRex skin appears. It still calls it DraxRex

I was thinking of slight buffs for the hardcore towers IF they got a golden/diamond skin (just a thought, chill haters) that engi’s sentries could get a mini boost from supports, for example if the boost was 25%, then with commander and dj, instead of normal dmg * 1.2 (red track) * 1.3 (commander), you would divide the additional buffs by 4 (so normal dmg + ndmg * 1.2 * 1.3 * 0.25)

If a new gold skin was to be added I think the most likely candidates would be either Sniper or Militant
Can’t really think of a gold advanced tower that isn’t already in the game that wouldn’t be incredibly op, like imagine gold mortar or gold turret

You could make a "golden" engineer with the admin gamepass IF IT ISNT BUGGED. All the golden tower are just a more expensive with higher stat version of the normal tower, so you could make engi cost more and make her sentry deal more dps but you cant change upgrade cost bc its bugged and you cant even change unit stats
