Agree with most everything. Only thing i would say is Paying off a collection won't help it. It'll still read collection on your report and it won't go away just because you pay it off.

Remember credit cards are NOT to be lived off of full time....me personally i only use 15% of my card, i have a $1000 card i use $150 striclty for gas, after that i wait till bill is due and i pay off the $150 and samething the next month

I am a college student at Caldwell University, and will be a Senior in September. My question is should I start paying off my student loan, little by little, my whole senior year OR should I get a credit card and only spend $50 a month if I Need anything while I am in school? P.S
I do have some money saved up already to pay off student loans when the time comes after graduating. What is your suggestion.

Tbh I think keeping your utilization low is definitely major and paying on time and making sure you pay back the total amount before the time frame given to you let’s say they give you 12 months to pay them back $2000 make sure you pay them back that $2000 within that timeframe once that time frame passes they charge a lot of interest and it will take you longer to pay them back.
