I am very grateful for my lovely neighbors on both sides. I give their kids holiday gifts, walk their dogs, sometimes cut their grass and we help each other out whenever we need it. We even trust each other enough to check on each others houses when we are out of town or gone for the night. One my neighbors is a single father in the military, so he trusts a great bit. Its an absolute blessing to have neighbors you can consider family and can trust them with what you cherish most.

I got a neighbor who has a camera pointed at our front door and window. And while my wife and i were in Vegas back in July someone broke into our place and i asked the "strange" neighbor if he had any footage of the break in. And wouldnt you know he actually did and helped exposed one of the landscapers and he got arrested. I bought my neighbor and his girlfriend an expensive steak dinner. $150 gift card to a beefeaters' steakhouse. My wife and i have nothing to hide so thier cameras dont bother us.🇺🇲

I had a neighbor who was a police officer do this . The worst neighbor to have is a cop. And the biggest bully on planet earth is a cops wife.
Edit: anyone going thru this kind of situation. Document everything. Get cameras. Never yell or act angry. Never forget who you are dealing with and always keep your cool. Troll them and get them to be the one who acts out on camera. Protect yourselves

The mother of a cop can be super problematic as well, I have one of those, when I first moved in it was all she said “ my son is a cop, my son is a cop” I let her know what I felt about her son being a cop which I will not repeat bc all cops aren’t bad guys, but her son would spend his entire working hours at or in front of her house as though I were under surveillance and also park his cruiser in my driveway so off course I videotaped these encounters and took it to Internal Affairs and filed a report, long story short he got reprimanded and she wasn’t allowed to so much as whisper about her son being a cop. This is my first home and I got stuck with “The neighbor from hell” I Thank God I quickly shut her down cause I might’ve been in jail right now

Talk to city hall about privacy and having a security camera pointed at your windows. There needs to be some rules.
