Thanks for this. Just did a close-ear comparison between 3 subs and it greatly helped identify the best to the worst performer. For anyone wondering, a 12 incher sure beats a 10. Had all 3 older Canadian made subs (from 3 diff manufacturers) side by side. These are around 20 years old, heavy builds. Not cheap junk from China, so you know the thing rocks. At the very demanding (low) parts of the song the 10" gave me some distortion, while the two 12s breezed through. The thumps also seemed a bit louder, more refined in the 12s. Now I know where to place these through the house for amazing results. It'll be like sitting on a fault line.
