Hymn to Montu the god of war in Ancient Egyptian Religion

Показать описание
Montu was an ancient Egyptian God depicted as a falcon-headed or bull-headed man, with his head surmounted by the solar disk with either a double or singular uraeus, and two feathers.
Because of the association of raging bulls with strength and war, the Egyptians believed that Montu manifested himself as a sacred Bull called in Egyptian language Bakha, Buchis in Greek. He was considered a fierce and powerful deity, embodying the qualities of bravery, victory, and military prowess. Egypt's greatest kings called themselves "Mighty Bull", "Son Of Montu", and "Montu Is with His Strong Arm".

Favorite lines from Hymn: "Yours is the strength behind necessity that helps us in our struggles....Yours is the will to survive." 🧡 The Sun is about to move from the sign of Taurus the Bull so in a Zodiacal sense the timing of the Hymn appearing now is appreciated! ☀

The name and pronunciation (Montu and Mitra) are the same, and to be Lord of the Sun, whether it is possible to be the same character or not. 🤔
