This seems to be about how it takes more than just throwing words together to construct a great song, at least that's the heart of the lyrics here. That being said, I feel on a larger scale there are more layers to this track, in that I think the broader meaning is in a world where there's so much cancel culture and everyone's looking for us all to think the same & feel the same about on issues, sometimes beings one's self and not caring is the way to be right, because it's way more authentic and it comes from the heart that way, and is therefore slated way more in truth.
