This video was created for a marine invertebrate class at the University of British Columbia. I am in my final term of a biology degree and am interested in continuing to pursue marine biology and science communication. Let me know what you think and what you want to see more of in the comments!!

I have no idea why YouTube threw this video my way but I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it very easy to follow and entertaining to watch. I wish you well in your studies and look forward to any future content you make!

I'm glad we have people out there exploring our world in unique and creative ways. I've seen studies on the evolution of sight, but never heard of (I'm so clever) any studies on the evolution of sound. Fascinating! It shouldn't be to difficult to set up experiments on cnidarian sound wave detection.

You did a good job with this video, easy to follow along with and interesting! This is the kind of thinking and research that one hopes would get more attention and response.

Really fascinating, thanks for sharing your work, all the best wishes for your studies!
You really made me think :) I guess these organisms represent a large amount of biomass in the ocean, do they? So I imagine that their behaviour as individuals adds up to a large effect on whole food webs, if that is the case?

I hope this isn't an uneducated thought, but I wonder if those damaging frequencies be used in the treatment of cnidarian parasites
