This is a really cool idea if your hair is the same color as your wig. But my wig is red and my hair is black, and the whole point of me getting a wig is so I don’t have to dye my real hair so I can’t do this method. But this is a really good hack for someone else. ❤

This is such a good idea for wigs that have a wrecked hairline and wigs that are too small. Love it! If you pick the colors carefully you could leave the parts you're leaving out uncolored and they could look like money pieces.

OMG THIS IS AMAZING!!!! This is one of the best hacks ive ever seen! And one comment said you could see the back of the part, but i seen where you commented you just pull more hair through and work with it a little more. It would work! And i heard you say use eyeshadow to color that part if needed, genius! I watched another video where the woman cut the main front, like she cut a piece of the seam and then cut it off, right at the hair line, plucked out hairs, and i didnt think that looked so great. What if you dont want any of your hair visible???? I want blonde hair but my autoimmune disease is causing reaction to bleach and my hair is falling out. I want to hide ALL of my hair. So its spend thousands, wear a horrible wig or show your own horrible hair. Awesome choices 😒

Super idea. Thx . I personally would sew more clips in ( i use clips all the time be.they give me more security) and maybe use a hairband or maybe silk hair scarf to cover the border between the natural and the wig.

Once you cut it down the center it messes with the way the wig is supposed to go on and stay in place. Any tips for fixing that issue?

Not good for people that wear a wig to hide hair thinning especially on the crown area.
I usually sew my clips in never thought of gluing them, I might give it a try
