In question 8 we can also do this:-
x²-5x+k
α-β=1
α=1+β

α+β=-(-5)/1
1+β+β=5
1+2β=5
2β=4
β=2

α=1+β
α=1+2
α=3
α×β=κ
3×2=κ
6=κ.

Q8 can be solved more easily
Alpha+bera=5
Alpha-bera=1
Both equation add karne par
2alpha=6
Alpha=3
Then beta=5-alpha=2
Alpha×beta=k=3×2=6

Guruji Q. - 8 ese bhi solve kar sakte hai jo kafi easy hai :-
x2 – 5x + k
Sum of zeros = 5
Product of zeros = k
α – β = 1 ∴ α = 1 + β
∴ As we know = α + β = 5 = 1 + β + β = 5 = 2β = 4 = β = 2
∴ As we know α – β = 1 = α – 2 = 1 = α = 3
Product = αβ = k = 3 × 2 = 6

35:10 easier solution of question 8 is:
a-b=1 (given) --- eq. 1
a+b= -b/a = 5 so a+b=5----eq.2
Eliminating 1 and 2:
a-b=1
a+b=5
:a=3.... putting value of a in eq.2 we get b=2
c=k and ab=c
So k=ab=3*2=6 so k=6 Ans.
Here a and b are alpha and beta

It can be seen that a + b (-b/a) = 5 {eq2}
Subtract eq1 from eq2
2b = 4
Therefore b = 2, so a = 3
C/a = k = a × b
= 3× 2
=6

For the 8 question, you can just use substitution method, alpha plus beta is 5 , minus alpha minus beta is 1, u get the same answer .

Sir question no. 8 ka alternate method bhi ho sakta hai na .
Ex.
Alpha - bita =1
Alpha =1 + bita eq.1st
Now,
Alpha + bita = 5/1
(From eq. 1st )
1 +bita +bita =5
2 bita = 4
Bita = 2 (put in eq. 1st )
Alpha = 1+2 = 3 .
Now put the value of alpha and bita in --
Alpha ×bita = c/a
And hence value of k = 6
