Skip to 7:30 to get the actual answer on how to kill the first eye... otherwise, you have to listen to 7 minutes of narrative. No offensive dude, it was interesting narrative... just trying to save time for impatient people like my 8 year old :)

@Rosvolainen Damn, didn't know that but now that I looked it up they certainly did show pretty much a ton of solving challenges within the game...

@gamingdrunk I'm sure not everybody watched the E3 demo though, like RendoDBI said. I heard that this eye thing had to do with some Japanese folk lore or something so the reason they showed how to do it might have to do with the fact that it should be obvious for a lot of Japanese people but not for the rest of us.

I don't get why Nintendo totally spoiled this the first time they showed the game on E3. If they hadn't shown the whole world how to do it straight away it might actually have been a bit of a challenge the first time.

After hours of frustration trying to get the double eyes to drop out and giving up and go to what I think is some help, only end up being really pissed off even further because it is completely misleading title and completely useless. Seriously, re-title this piece to musing about getting into the first room of skytemple with a test video.
