Strongway 48in Plug Aerator: Complete Build | 2 Year Review

Today we are assembling and reviewing the Strongway 48in Plug Aerator. I have had this tow behind aerator for 2 years and have used it for several projects around our homestead. It was purchased from Northern Tool and I use it on my zero turn mower. I’ll share my insights as well as take you through the build step-by-step, showing you how to put together the Strongway Tow-Behind Plug Aerator.

Although we are homesteaders on youtube, we want to start out first by saying that we are by no means experts in the homesteading lifestyle. We still consider ourselves to be brand new, starting our family homestead from scratch. Two years ago we moved into this 100+ year old farmhouse with a little less than 4 acres of land, a couple barns, and a whole lot of potential. After being inspired by other homesteading channels, we decided to start our own to document our journey as a homesteading family.

My husband is putting ours together. Lol the long thingie doesnt fit in one of the holes so he can attch the pin. He had to drill it bigger.

The wheel assembly is a little confusing. There are no 1/2” hex nuts in my package. And there is a 1/2” space on the 1/2 bolt when you put the wheel on because it’s not an all thread bolt

I need help with Step 12…the handle. Where do you put the 2nd bolt in? In my first attempt to attach this, it works in the opposite way. The manual’s drawings are no help on this step.

Great video, how often do you used arerato per year. I'm thinking about using one for small lawn care business, until I can afford a gas powered one. I have research the agri-fab arerato seem like they almost about the same the wheels are different. Thanks
