It makes the most sense for the new series to follow Mel as she takes over house Medarda and takes her mom’s place as a player in the Noxian political landscape.

It’d also make the most sense for the backdrop of the new series to be the Noxian/Ionian war. That way we get plenty of origins/backstories. Most importantly for Swain, Darius, and LeBlanc.
