I was trained and worked for Vidal Sassoon in Costa Mesa, Ca. I commend you for your haircutting technique because it is how I was taught and it is rare to find Hair Stylists as ourselves. I have owned a Salon and Spa for more than 40 years and I am about to retire, which is extremely sad because I have loved my profession and have never gotten tired of cutting hair.

1st vid I’ve watched & you got a new sub 🙌 I appreciated many things about your vid. It was under 15mins & concise. You kept your explanations simple & to the point, while also explaining what square layers will achieve & what types of hair they are best for. You not only showed the different ways to style this cut but how versatile it is, from a professional mature look to fun young beach vibes, and you showed the cut straight, which is so important to see that your layers blend w/out styling. James, love the haircut. The lines are so simple, yet precise & the style is so versatile that can be parted in the middle, swept to the side, worn straight or curled. Im presently growing out my hair after losing it all to breast cancer so right now it's in layers. I hate layers & this is a great style while growing out layers. It makes hair look great while trying to grow out the layers. Thanks for the lesson & style. Keep bringing us great styles!
