She was silent when the Rohingya were being slaughtered. What did she expect from a brutal regime ?!

I came to find out what was happening in Myanmar. I listened for 10 minutes before I realized this guy said absolutely nothing.

After Trump, can you truly say a military coup won't happen in a Western country, or indeed won't be necessary in a Western country in the future?

The same army was patted on its back when they tried to wipe out the Rohingya and committed a genocide against that ABORIGINAL group who are ORIGINALLY from western Burma.

Why light a picture on fire, and then stomp it out immidately? Angry mobs aren't what they used to be

**wondering where this political party stands on the spectrum**

"Overthrow condemned by western governments"

Welp, obviously not socialist. Not that it makes it any less worrying.

I obviously don't want to see the military take over anywhere - but who has any sympathy of Aung San Suu Kyi anymore after her treatment of Muslims in Myanmar? And Bob Rae has as much credibility as a three dollar bill.

they all use the laws. there is not difference between them in this respect. law after all is created by man to be used by man, for man, against man. law is not something that sits to the side given as a divine gift in which humans tap into whenever it so suits them. every nation plays by the laws that they pass; and these laws differ from state to state due to historical and ethnic context. humanity can not have the same law for they are not the borg collective; countries are independent and sovereign.

In any event, the poor Ruhingas enormously suffered both under Aung San Suu and the past military junta. I hope the UN will this time take the initiative to rescue them from another genocide during this brutal regime.
