Tweed Jacket Reviews: 2017 Nissan Juke 1.5 dCi N-Connecta - Lloyd Vehicle Consulting

In this review, suitably attired, we go for a drive out in the Hampshire countryside to test a wonderful 2017 Nissan Juke 1.5 dCi N-Connecta and see how practical it is, what it is like to drive and what it is like to own. Be prepared for more in-jokes for fans of 1990s cheesy action television shows (as usual), references to Peter Serafinowicz's seminal spoof science series Look Around You, motorcycle inspired centre consoles, surprisingly good driving dynamics, a massive range of engines and various rather lame attempts at humour... Nothing untoward, then!

As an independent vehicle consultant, I take potential buyers through the whole car buying process from choosing a make and model to a vehicle handover and road tax. In addition to information on this service, I also have a selection of written and video reviews of cars that I have owned, hired, borrowed or have somehow come into my possession. Please use the Contact Me page on my website to get in touch, visit my Facebook page for latest updates and share this video if you like it! Thank you for watching.

Thought it was really cool when it was brand new. But accommodation and practicality just give the idea that it was designed as a high 2 seat coupe. My uncle just swapped a Kia Soul for a Juke 1.5 dci and he loves it. He reckons fuel consumption is extremely low. Hey, if it sells, keep building it.

they usually have some great deals on these cars...thats why they sell and is still going for 9 years with just facelift's and a tweak here and there.

In terms of interior quality and driving experience, and leaving aside any price differential, would you say this was noticeably better than the MG ZS?
Another excellent Tweed Jacket Review!

Love it, the colour does suit me right to the ground, strong vehicle, great engine and I really like the spotlights, I would love to drive the NISMO RS. *ben

The looks are controversial but they are not really bad either so it is what it is I suppose. I have seen a black and red Nismo Juke quite often locally and I must say that that does look particularly good and very purposeful.
I remember a great deal of objection to the looks of the original Fiat Multipla but that had the trump cards of excellent brakes handling and superb practicality in its favour . The Nissan Juke though seems to have a very limited amount of interior space in relation to its actual size.
As I said before, if people buy it then keep building it because that makes good business sense, and secures jobs.

I have only been in one of these. It was a few years back. Seeing you getting into the back triggered my memory. It was a taxi in a similar colour (thou your yellow is much nicer). I understand what you mean about back seats. I was not very comfortable at all. Thou I must say that the interior is much nicer than other nissans of the same year. For example the tiida. Lol
