How To Set Up a Talk Box

This is how to set up a talk box on a synthesizer keyboard, it's pretty straight forward but if you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them.

I bought a MXR and have being trying to play it, signal and everything works perfect with my microkorg but literally I can’t even get a word to work, not even a vowel. I don’t get what I’m doing wrong but it’s not a practice issue to be able to do it better because I literally don’t even have anything coming out to improve on, any help?

How do you get the sound to go thru monitors. I have an interface, I was wondering if I can route it thru that because my speakers are already routed thru the interface.

1:24 if I have another piano that runs on batteries, do I not need a power cord for the keyboard but only for the talk box? Or do I need a power cord for both keyboard and talk box?

If my talkbox 222 isnt making too much sound, is it the cord or the talbox messed up? Because i use a basic headphone cable, not an amp or anything fancy like that

Can you attach the talk box to a normal keyboard and not a synthesizer?? I know it won’t have the same sound but synthesizers are expensive and I don’t want to professionally make music, I just wanna get a talk of for fun

@J. EZra hey so I want to use a talk box for ableton. First I dont have an audio input thing. Second i just have a normal alesis midi keyboard. if I buy a talk box will it work with what I have?

You are using a mono cable which makes sense to a talkbox, and I seethat the Korg has split L/R ouputs, however many units will only have a single stereo output.
