DC-62 is a yellow powder like substance that can be found in a number of locations across Washington DC.

Most prevalent in Quarantine areas like the Dark Zone, this chemical ended up being as toxic as the dollar flu itself.

But where did it come from?
And why was it released onto the already devastated, streets of DC?

Something that's been glossed over in the game (so far at any rate) is what happens to the dc-62 after its gone from chemical to residue and been exposed to weather which would wash it into the water table and spread it's effects beyond the darkzones.

Just wanted to add on since you saw my comment..I’m very new to the Division like two months before the division 2 came out seeing your videos helped BIG TIME you explain in detail the story line the characters minor characters anywhere from the virus to directive 51 to the factions and EVERYTHING in between along with the proof standing by echos audio files etc I loved the in depth details on the factions, their origins who’s in charge what weapons they use what to look out for when being confronted by a certain faction I can easily see you do these videos for your subscribers and not for the benefit I just wanted to thank you personally for all your hard work ❤️
