Considering Yang is always putting on a really confident front, it was SO cute to see her act shy. This whole scene was so freaking adorable I love them. It would have been really easy to write Blake as the one who’s nervous, but I think Yang being that person makes a lot more sense and I’m glad they went with that approach instead. I’ve rewatched this so many times.

“Just say it, Yang” GEHSHJSBSJENDN and the fact that Yang hadn’t even fully finished her sentence and Blake immediately said it back 😩 I just love how you can tell Yang is still nervous meanwhile Blake is READY and probably has been for a while

here is a fun little fact, The flowers you see at the confession scene are lilies, lilies tend to be a symbol of lesbian relationships going back to japanese where the word for lily can also mean a lesbian :D

Anyone else notice the moment after Yang says "Any more big truth we haven't told each other!" The colour of the clouds shift to a more bright colouring, so freaking great, you just know the Crwby team was like "We have to this right!"

The way Yang casually, nervously blurted out the obvious "You have Cat Ears"

And Blake's expression was like "Duh, I know. What exactly is it, Yang?"

Edit: No, wait, it's actually on Blake's part, it was more like "Really Yang? You could do better than that"

Man. I love how shy Blake normally is but the tables have turned in this moment and that Yang being the normally funny straightforward person she is becomes all hesitant and shy in here

Okay now I can die in peace. This scene was so beautifully animated that I wept some tears, even though I'm a boy... Absolutely stunning scene, thank you Rooster Teeth...

I love how it completely flips the last two kisses on the show, both of which happened where one threw it on the other where they weren't really ready for it. Here we got both of them confessing their feelings first before coming together with equal enthusiasm for the kiss. Bumbleby has always been a relationship about the two of them being equals, and this scene epotimises it perfectly, even down to the confession. Blake is clearly ready to say it a lot earlier, but she gently encourages the much more uncertain Yang to say it first, and responding so fast Yang doesn't even have a moment to worry about how she feels being unrequited.
I will stand by saying that this is not only one of the most gorgeous sequences ever in animated history, but also one of the best romantic confessions in fiction.

I can't believed it actually happened! I've always thought that there was a special bond between Yang and Blake. When they let out what they felt, I knew they would hit it off. My dad told me once that if a person wants to fall in love with another, that's their own choice to make. Even though I am straight, I am very proud of my favorite characters to find love. Congrats to Rooster Teeth!💖💘😘😘
