The king of coasters! Launching at 128 mph in just 3.5 seconds, Kingda Ka shoots riders up to a staggering height of 456 feet, dropping them at a 90 degree angle! It's a short ride, but oh is it sweet!

The operations and layout of Kingda Ka are better than Top Thrill Dragster but the restraints and smoothness goes to Top Thrill Dragster. I really hope that TTD can make a safe and secure return in 2022

The fact that the airtime hill is larger than a lot of ride’s first drop is INSANE!!

3:42 Just look at how the drop tower is falling at the same speed right next to Kingda Ka all the way down, that's just so freaking cool. I'm glad NJ allowed them to run at the same time.

2:58 Taylor's way of saying he's been to Japan, without saying he's been to Japan 😂

I’m honestly anticipating this ride more than El Toro, just for the experience of being on the tallest coaster on the planet

I’m excited for all these high-quality re-reviews coming out now

I loved kingda ka. You feel the extra speed compared to dragster and if you’re in the front you may get a decent pop of airtime. I also got a duel when I rode zumanjaro. That was an insane experience. I agree with you on the launch. For whatever reason dragsters launch seems a bit more powerful

I feel so lucky I’ve been able to ride this once in my life let alone the 10 times this summer. You don’t realize how special it is until hindsight kicks in

I really love the launch on Kingda Ka - in the front you really feel the acceleration and in the back it’s shaky in a really fun “oh my god we’re going to fast this thing is gonna fall apart” kinda way

Racing Kingda Ka’s train down the tower from the POV of the drop tower looks amazing! It’d also be freaky to feel the tower sway as it absorbs the force of the coaster train climbing the structure all while you’re up hundreds of feet in the air on Zumanjaro.

KINGDA KA is definitely my most ever favorite rollercoaster. And my favorite Intamin ride is ZUMANJARO. The only rollback I experience is not on Kingda Ka, but on the Flashback Boomerang coaster at Great Escape in upstate NY. KINGDA KA will always be my coaster. My S & S favorite is Sasquatch at Great Escape. My favorite wooden coaster is The Comet. I definitely would invite my one and only superhero and superstar to ride on Kingda Ka.

I used to live 5 minutes away from Great Adventure in a town called New Egypt. Haven’t been back to Six Flags in a bit, but it’s interesting to see what they’re doing with the area around it. It used to all be woods near the entrance, on Monmouth Rd. They’re definitely expanding that area for the larger influx of tourists.

Been closed every time I’ve been 😫 TTD has always been one of my favorite rides so this is a huge bucket list coaster for me

I love Kingda Ka. Great Adventure is my home park. There is definitely a difference in front versus back when riding. You made a fair critique of the ride. I still have not gotten to experience a roll back either.

I rode this in the back and I honestly thought it felt pretty smooth. Of course, you don't get the view or the wind in your face, but you still get that sense of speed, especially when you aren't expecting the launch.

Awesome you are finally re reviewing this. The old one was, well, old. Keep doing these re reviews.

I live in Germany and randomly found out about this coaster. Great Adventure seems to be insanely good, when I ever visit the East Coast of the US, I need to go there :)

6:18 wow, did any1 else see how the trained absolutely hauled over the top hat. That seems like it was the fastest I've ever seen that coaster crest over the top hat.
