California Wildfires | Helicopters Battle Flames As Palisades Fire Burns On Santa Monica Mountains

Aerial footage showed helicopters battling the Palisades Fire in California's Santa Monica Mountains into the night on Friday. Fire trucks were visible moving away from a helispot as tall flames neared. Fires raging in the Los Angeles area reduced some 10,000 structures to ash and rubble, killed at least 10, displaced thousands of others and spread over an area larger than the size of San Francisco. The blazes started Tuesday, powered by gusts from the Santa Ana winds, which slackened Thursday, though forecasters warn they could pick back up later this weekend.

On the one hand the public should expect a reliable source of water for normal consumption. But Californians live in a place where water is scarce and limited. Californians never placed water conservation at the top of their list. They all want super green lawns, trees, gardens and swimming pools. California was already at its limit with growing demand for water way before the fires hit. They simply tapped all the water at once. Californians are just the same as Florida also. Natural disasters hit both of these states every year. California with earthquakes and fires and Florida with floods and hurricanes. look at the story of Lynda and Stewart Resnick, While 40 million Californians suffer through unprecedented drought, one billionaire couple owns a massive share of the state's water system. Yes California Government sucks along with US government for not taking action to fix this issue. But also the blame is in part from the public for over consumption of a limited resource.

I believe that this was arson I believe that a homeless person or people did this I think that they waited till the right time when the wind would be very very heavy for a few days I want to thank all the firefighters for what they're doing putting their lives on the line. My grandfather that came from Ireland who died in 1977 was a firefighter and I respect him very much.
