Swirling(Ibanez RG Headstock Swirl 3 colours)

Hey Guys this is a Head stock Swirl i did in 3 colours,body to be Swirled soon.The guitar is a Ibanez RG350 original colour white.I will be masking the fret board and applying a high gloss clear coat to the neck & headstock soon.Once i have done this i will sand and polish to a super high gloss.

Pretty cool, but way too uniform in every one. They would turn out much better I think without running that stick through it over and over again until it's almost uniformly mixed swirls. Larger areas of a given color would look much more bold.

What is the recipe for you use to prepare the water mixture? Also what kind of paint do you use? Thanks, I enjoy the videos. Keep em' coming.

Where do you get the paints from to do the swirling ? Do they have to be oil based. Lovely job by the way.

the paint is oil based so it doesn't mix in the water. If the cleanup instructions of the paint tells you to use a solvent then it's not water based and should work.

hey dude, please help me, im trying to swirl my ibz with enamel, water and borax, but the pain gets filmy and when i swirl it, it gets pasted on the stick i use, what could i be possibly doing wrong?
