Crocodiles are practically modern day dinosaurs. They have extremely hard and thick armor all along their back which is impenetrable in the animal kingdom. They have very iconic jaws, where you can see both its top and bottom sets of ferocious teeth, even when the mouth is closed. They're even one of the inspirations, if not the very original one, for the European dragon. They can grow to be huge, intelligent, and unfortunately underrated and underestimated. A large adult male croc has no predators, and can hunt almost any other animal in its habitat.
I could go on and on showering crocodiles in compliments, but in short, they're by far the coolest animal there is. The undeserved spotlight the overrated wolf gets should undoubtedly go to the crocodile.
