Nice. Wooden pads are a lovely thing. I just use CA glue on scrap 5mm plywood but hide glue makes sense. (Double sided tape works but not the cheap stuff.)

What material do you use for your pads? I’ve had some very basic clamps for about a year, but the factory rubber pads just popped off! I was using them at someone else’s house, and in getting transported back to my house the pads popped off, and I can’t find them. Do you just use wood blocked cut to shape?
