Unfortunately currently is a huge privacy risk to use the IDE, what they say they do is store prompts on their servers for some unknown time, which might include sensitive data. No clue how is the data stored and who has access to it. Just bear in mind that although this looks great it would take some time to polish and make it trusted by organization if that happens at all, until then it is a big no no even for personal projects.

I wonder if this will ever work fully offline. There are claims that chatGPT is using your data and this IDE seems a huge privacy issue, which would mean most corporations wouldn't allow it.

Can it go in and create new files and edit other files in the code base? I haven’t been able to get it to do that.

Ex: Create a flask app that makes a button in the center of a page.
