From the end of World War I, when the Paris Peace Conference adopted US President Wilson’s Fourteen Points, Russia has NEVER accepted the Point that said ‘Nations will have the right to Self-Determination’! That was fine for others but surely, that didn’t mean the All Powerful Soviet Union/Russia!!
